Conscious creation — How we can manifest our deepest desires

The Ottawa Pathwork community is offering a series of free lecture discussions focused on how we can manifest our deepest desires by:

  • Understanding the power of our thoughts, feelings, and attitudes
  • Making the link between cause and effect
  • Finding our hidden ‘No’
  • Calling in spiritual support

This year, Pathwork Ottawa is offering a seven-module series to support you in harnessing the potential of Conscious Creation.

We’ve all heard how the unconscious realm holds more power to influence our lives than the conscious mind. Conscious creation requires making contact with the unconscious and learning how to work with what we find there.  Pathwork offers concepts, tools, and practices to connect with the unconscious material that may be thwarting your growth and your legitimate longings and desires.

So far in the Open Lecture Series we have considered:

  • How we create in our lives constantly and often without realizing it (L208)
  • That what we speak to ourselves inwardly and out of awareness is even more powerful than what we consciously tell ourselves (L233)
  • How to detect what is in our unconscious storyline and translate it into awareness (L124)
  • How to use the powerful tool of the Three Voices Meditation to bring awareness, reorient misconceptions and open to the help of Spirit (L182)

The next lecture, L196: Commitment – Cause and Effect, points out that the unhappiness in our life is an ‘effect’.  We must look inwardly for the ‘cause’. This requires a consistent commitment.  What undermines our commitment to this endeavor is our almost unconscious negative intentionality.  In spite of the great positive intentionality that all we human beings have, we all also carry negative intentionality.  It is part of our life task to discover and transform it.

“The gradually increasing ability of connecting cause and effect, the maturing process and the growing awareness that are involved in it, bring such peace and light! It may at first be very uncomfortable for you to see how you create what you deplore, how you must give up what you ferociously clutch if you wish a different life experience. But once the beauty of these laws is perceived and accepted, the sense of safety and freedom that arises is beyond human words. It conveys, like nothing else could, in what a safe, just, loving universe we all live.” (L196, p5)
