Membership

Pathwork Ottawa sees membership both as a privilege and a responsibility. It is a tangible way of expressing support for and involvement in the community and of contributing to the health and vitality of the Pathwork. It is also a vehicle for fellowship with others in Pathwork communities worldwide.

We see those who are connected to Pathwork Ottawa as falling into three categories:

Full Membership: Full Membership indicates a definite involvement with the community and strong commitment to the Pathwork teachings. Members have voting privileges for all decisions and accept a degree of personal responsibility for this community and the larger Pathwork community. They are asked to apply the spiritual principles set forth in the Guide lectures to their own personal growth and to their participation in the community. Full membership is required for students in ongoing programs. It is open to all
who feel ready to take on this level of involvement by making a Stage 1 Commitment. For more details, contact a member of the Vision & Planning Circle.

Associate Membership: This group comprises those who are somewhat involved in the Pathwork. They may be in a lecture study group for instance, or come to Community Gatherings, but are not ready to make the level of commitment asked of a full member. A nominal Associate Membership fee is requested to represent involvement in and support of the community. The amount of this fee is left to the discretion of the Associate.

Visitors: Visitors are those who sometimes come to Pathwork events, and may even be in a lecture study group or having sessions, but have relatively little involvement in the community. The Community welcomes the opportunity to spend time with a visitor who may want discussion/support in discerning whether or not to become a member of Ottawa Pathwork.
