Conscious creation — How we can manifest our deepest desires

The Ottawa Pathwork community is offering a series of free lecture discussions focused on how we can manifest our deepest desires by:
  • Understanding the power of our thoughts, feelings, and attitudes
  • Making the link between cause and effect
  • Finding our hidden ‘No’
  • Calling in spiritual support
This year, Pathwork Ottawa is offering a seven-module series to support you in harnessing the potential of Conscious Creation.

We’ve all heard how the unconscious realm holds more power to influence our lives than the conscious mind. Conscious creation requires making contact with the unconscious and learning how to work with what we find there.  Pathwork offers concepts, tools, and practices to connect with the unconscious material that may be thwarting your growth and your legitimate longings and desires.

Have you heard this analogy before, that we are all artists and the lives we create are our art? Instead of brushes and paint, we use our thoughts, beliefs and feelings to create the canvas of our lives. What you see on the outside directly correlates to what we harbour within.

“You are constantly creating your own world right now: it is the life you lead.” (L175)

We constantly wield this creative power without any conscious awareness that we possess it, or how our ignorance of its workings affects the quality of our lives. Our lack of awareness causes us to suffer from feelings of helplessness; creating without awareness leads us to believe that we have no role or influence in how our lives unfold. Not so, says the Guide: “You are not a helpless pawn in anyone’s hands.” (L175)

This sense of helplessness causes us to adopt a victim mentality and robs us of our inherent ability to consciously determine our lives. Believing ourselves to be at the mercy of fate or other people, we find ourselves railing at the injustice of our own negative creations, effectively warring against ourselves.

In Lecture 175, the Guide shows us how to realize our power for positive life creation by recognizing the universal spirit inside of us; by our willingness to transform the faulty attitudes responsible for our negative life experience; and by employing the tools of perceiving, knowing and willing for conscious creation.
