The Pathwork lectures  provide invaluable, wise guidance in the area of relationship. You may be sensing that some relationships in your life are not as close or authentic as you would wish and wonder what you can do to improve your connections with others.  The next lecture study series, Growing Through Pathwork Studies (GPS) will delve into this topic. Read below for the details.  Please register by April 3, 2021.

As the pandemic continues and we experience both increased contact with our close others and more distance than we would wish for with family, friends and colleagues, it is still a challenging time for relationships and makes now an opportune time for taking a closer look at ourselves within them.  It is through relationship that we can learn and grow most.  The GPS series is also a powerful way to engage more fully in our emotional and spiritual journey, and with the help of an ongoing group, to benefit from the support of others with a similar intent.

The Pathwork lectures are a treasure trove of wisdom about how to mature emotionally and spiritually in order to live our lives fully.  When read carefully and considered deeply, they provide guidance about every aspect of being human.  This series will continue in the book, Creating Union, The Essence of Intimate Relationship by Eva Pierrakos and Judith Saly. The book brings together many of the Pathwork lectures that deal specifically with relationship.  The lectures provide us with insights and guide us to a deeper understanding about relationships of all kinds including, and most importantly, our relationship with ourselves as we come to see inner patterns based on our unconscious beliefs about ourselves and life. The topics this time will:

  • Help us understand and mature our judgments towards others and towards ourselves;
  • Give us insight about the origins of limiting beliefs formed in childhood and how to correct them.
  • Help us understand the masculine and feminine principles at work in all aspects of life and the universe.

There is rich material here that can throw new light on how we are in our intimate relationships as well as in relationships with friends, family and colleagues.

Growing Through Pathwork Studies is a small fixed group (6 to 10 people) that will meet via Zoom every 2 weeks for 5 evenings.  We will engage with the lecture material through teachings, discussion and self-reflection, applying it to our own lives using written exercises, guided meditations, music, poetry, movement and creative expression. The focus will be on using our mental faculties as well as our emotional intelligence and our physical awareness to deepen our understanding of the Pathwork teachings about our relationships. The 2 week interval between classes allows time for reflection and integration as well as for preparing for the next class.  Materials will be provided to guide your self-reflection in preparation for each class.

The book gives a context for each lecture and a structure for clarification.  It is available at Singing Pebble Books ($27.95) on Main Street (613-230-9165),  or from Pathwork.org (a bit more expensive).

As we are still being asked to observe some Covid restrictions, perhaps some of our stay-at-home time can be used to further the growth of our relationships with the help of the wise guidance of the Pathwork teachings, from their deep soul perspective – to help us fulfill our life task as it manifests in relationships.
